Start Living from Glory

We are entering a time of GREATER GLORY!

What is the glory of God?

The simplist definition is the weighty manifestation of His presence, power, and holiness. Some people know of God’s glory through hearsay – maybe they have a a friend who has shared their experiences with God or seen something on social media.

Many Christians know of God’s glory through observation – sitting in a service while someone operates under the anointing.

People are hungry for a relationship with the One Who is glory.

You are called to live out of glory.

And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how will it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we will be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the people who are on the face of the earth?”

Exodus 33:14-16

Moses knew there was no point in trying to go anywhere or do anything for God if His presence didn’t go. Seek God for what to focus on in this new year.

His glory makes a difference.

Our lives are to look different than the rest of the world. Moses also knew the glory of God is what distingued God’s people from the rest of the world.

Everyone around you should be able to recognize something is different about you.

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of testimony in the hands of Moses, when he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, amazingly, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.
But whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with Him, he took the veil off until he came out. Then he came out and spoke to the children of Israel what he had been commanded. The children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, and then Moses put the veil over his face again until he went in to speak with Him.

Exodus 34:29-30, 34-35

Surround yourself with people who want to live from God’s glory. Moses had to put a veil on his face because it made the people around him uncomfortable.

But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:18

The glory of God is what transforms us into His image. Knowledge can change your mind, revelation can change your heart, but glory changes who you are into who Christ is.

Have you become passive in your pursuit of God’s glory?

In recent conversations, different people have mentioned settling for where they are with God now and not pushing in for more.

You are called to live from glory that is always getting stronger. If you aren’t hungry for God, ask Him to make you more hungry.

Will you pay the price to live in glory?

In a recent vision, I saw Jesus on His knees weeping over a picture of an evangelist who had fallen into sin. Jesus looked up at me and asked “will someone bring integrity back to the supernatural?”

That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you to His kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:12

God is looking for people who will say lay down their lives, take up the cross, and follow Him.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirits that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified with Him.

Romans 8:16-17

Christ didn’t suffer from sickness, disease, poverty or lack – you aren’t called to suffer with any of those either.

Christ denied His flesh and suffered for the sake of love. He was mocked, spit on, beaten, betrayed but still loved through it all.

Keep your focus on Christ.

If you then were raised with Christ, desire those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on earth.

Colossians 3:1-2

Don’t let the cares of this world distract you from pursuing God’s glory.

Let’s be a people who set our focus on Jesus, our passion on God’s presence and experience His miraculous power!
